The BOG (boil-off gas) serves as valuable flash gas that can be harnessed efficiently. By compressing the BOG to a specific pressure using a compressor, it can be channeled directly into the municipal gas network or further compressed to 250 kg to supply a compressed natural gas (CNG) station.
There are four fundamental categories of BOG recovery compressors, classified based on their flow rates under standard operating conditions: they are available in capacities of 100Nm3/h (ranging from 50 to 150Nm3/h), 300Nm3/h (from 200 to 400Nm3/h), 500Nm3/h (between 400 and 700Nm3/h), and 1000Nm3/h (spanning 800 to 1500Nm3/h).
